2010-04-03 Wireless autonomous data gathering and remote control GSM based system "Keeper"

"Keeper" is a wireless autonomous device for remote data gathering and control. For information transmission email messages through GPRS connection are used (a GSM module is already embedded into the device). Application fields - monitoring and remote control of industrial or private objects, which are difficult of access (wind power stations, solar power stations, pumping stations, greenhouses, etc.).

Download the "Keeper" user guide.

Main features:

1) output data format - email text messages (it doesn't need any additional equipment or software for receiving and saving reports from "Keeper", you need only the usual email account);

2) inputs - 8 discrete inputs (every input is configurable)  for data gathering (input voltage range 0-5v);

3) outputs - 2 powerful remotely controlled switch relay outputs (250VAC, 5A) and 2 remotely controlled power supply outputs 12v 0.5a;

4) report modes - "schedule message" or "event message" (configurable);

5) configuration method - device is fully configurable by SMS message with password authorization (for device reconfiguration you just  need to send an SMS with new settings);

6) supply voltage - 9-16v (if you want to use embedded UPS than supply voltage has to be 14v 1.5Ah);

7) current consumption - ~60mA (peak consumption 500mA);

8) a mail delivery protocol – SMTP* over GPRS;

9) additional features - embedded UPS (you just need to connect 12v rechargeable battery).

10) package content – the “Keeper” device, 3m GSM antenna.
